About me

Who could tell that I would be doing a course in photography? I have already done a course in web design, and it was through this that I have decided to do this course in photography. So one might ask how will photography help someone to do web design?
Well, for one I would like to use the images that I generate to use on whatever I will be designing. It's after taking up this course that I realised the different avenues to photography and this has drawn my interest to a greater extent. The course consists of two sections namely Location and Studio.
I have just completed my first assignment and this is my second. My aim is to become one of the most iconic photographers in this region. I am interested in changing the way how a lot of people see pictures. During this project i would like to bring the past to the future.
So far I am liking the challenges that this project has to offer. One of my influences for this assignment is John Thompson, for me he stands out as one of the most iconic photographers of his time. His style of street photography fascinates me. He could easily be described as a very hard working photographer; who spends a lot of his time travelling both locally and abroad to make his mark in the world of photography.
I thought the ideas that I have for my project was crazy, but funny enough my Location tutor says "crazy is good".
So this brings me to how am I going to present the images. I would have loved to have models to walk around the city centre in Victorian outfits, but this is proving to be a bit of a challenge for me. The alternative to this would have to be computer software and specially adopted camera lense.
On the "Blog page" I have created mind maps which will work as guidelines for me to work towards.
